From Idea to Groundbreaking Technology

After extensive discussions with companies, institutes, and industry peers, we found our way to the University of Applied Sciences Rapperswil (OST) – specifically, the environmental department of Prof. Dr. Andre Heel. His team had already been researching plasma technology that could break down CO₂ and convert it into a useful raw material. But what made this collaboration truly special was that it wasn’t just about theoretical research – the goal was to develop a real product that could make a tangible impact on the world.

Prof. Dr. Andre Heel and his team discovered that their research was the perfect fit for our vision. This was a major breakthrough! However, bringing such an innovation to market comes with numerous challenges. This is where KMU und Innovation played a crucial role: The program not only helped us find the right partners but also provided structured support to turn an ambitious idea into a viable product.
